The 15-piece capsule, called ‘Ksubi 23’, features gold details across the full collection. This includes gold hardware and - for the first time - gold embroidery of the brand’s slogan ‘Royalty, Heroism and The Streets’, which is featured on Ksubi’s pocket tags.
The 23rd anniversary range will also include the brand’s key denimwear, while Ksubi’s box-cross logos have been updated for the drop.
Founded in 1999 in Sydney, Ksubi was originally established as an artistic collective; the first Ksubi denim styles were created at home using angle grinders to create distressed denim.
The brand then introduced conceptual art to fashion, where it then expanded globally.
As part of the launch, Ksubi is handing over its platform to a collective of 23 up-and-coming talents. The list ranges from performance artists to sporting talents.
Ksubi CEO Craig King said the ambassadors are representative of its brand values.
“Ksubi has been blessed to have had some many incredible creatives contribute to the brand over the past 23 years,” King said. “Ksubi 23 is a great moment to reflect on the past but salute the next generation of creatives.
“We have assembled a diverse group of special talents whom we feel will be shaping the next 23 years.”
